Standard twin and double rooms are reasonably spacious, the larger ones close to matching some superiors in size, if not necessarily in location. They naturally share precisely the same facilities as our superior rooms (the Egyptian cotton bedding, Molton Brown in the bathroom, flat screen televisions, kettles and so on).

Rates

• Five-course dinner, bed and breakfast: £64.50 per person per night, £387 per person per week
• Bed and breakfast: £52 per person per night, £312 per person per week.
